About Our Avaries

 

Sommariva Station has over 50 native Australian and exotic birds.

 

Our most prized birds are four blue and gold macaws - Mork and Mindy, Stitchy and Lilo.

 

Other varities include, Black Cockatoos, Indian Ringnecks, Sun Conures, Quakers, and King Parrots. We also have a range of Silky chooks, Pheasents, Quails and Ducks.

 

Through the non-breeding season our birds are allowed free flight in their super sized landscaped avery built on the property. During the spring/summer months they are transfered back to there breeding pens with their mates for the breeding season.
